ALTERNATE RELAY RUNNERS

In the event a relay team member can not run for any reason alternate runners are allowed. The alternate should receive the complete Packet from the person being replaced. As soon as the alternate knows he or she is running go the scorer’s table (on the field near the starting line) and fill out an alternate card. The alternate should be in the same division the team signed up, if not the team will be moved to the appropriate division. No entry fee is required for the alternate with a bib number

Alternates without bib numbers:
Normal registration applies. See Admissions and Fees link for fees and closing dates.

Floating Alternates:
On race day, alternates that end up without a team may team-up with other alternates at the scorer’s table. Fill out alternate card. Do this ASAP as your registration may delay your start in the race that starts at 8:30.

Runners without a team prior to the start will run the 5k Solo Run.
