The Team Captain will get to keep the racing baton engraved with the words "Inaugural American Hero 25k Relay"
Relay Awards: The American Hero 25K Relay Medals will be awarded (5 per team) to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place relay teams for all divisions. All other finishers will receive The American Hero 25K Relay Memorial Medal.
Team Captain: It is the team captain’s responsibility to pick up the medals at the awards ceremony.
Solo Runs Awards: 5k and 25k Solo Runs will also get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals. All other finishers will receive The American Hero 25K Relay Memorial Medal.
Kid’s Awards: All 10 and Under ¼ mi. runners will get a large custom made Inaugural American Hero 25k Relay Memorial Ribbon.
Awards Ceremony: American Hero Awards, Scholarship Awards and Race Awards
American Hero Voting - The public will nominate and vote over the Internet for their “Hero” of their choice.
The five divisions are:
- Military
- Police/Fire
- Teacher
- Corporate/Civil Service
- Community

$500 Scholarships:
For Cancer Survivor (and other diseases), Child Abuse, Blindness, etc.
Funds raised will go toward high school and GED graduates who qualify, apply and are selected for $500 scholarships.
